Wimbledon Village Fair 2014

Haydon the Womble in goal Visitors to the Wimbledon Village Fair, the largest free outdoor event in south London attracting thousands every year, enjoy a huge variety of entertainment.

Highlights include the horse show, hundreds of arts and crafts stalls, a delicious food village boasting food from around the globe, a hand-selected farmers’ market, live entertainment and family fun.

Mr Potato from the TV show Peppa Pig will officially open the fair at 11am.

Look out for Haydon the Womble between 11am and 2pm, at the AFC Wimbledon football club stall or wandering around to meet his fans for hugs and photos. You can also buy official AFC Wimbledon merchandise from the club shop.

The Wimbledon Village Fair raises funds and awareness for The Wimbledon Guild in its aims to support ageing, encourage mental wellbeing and tackle poverty within the local community.

A percentage of each stall’s takings will go towards the vital work carried out by The Wimbledon Guild. Each purchase made at the Wimbledon Village Fair directly helps to provide support in the local community.
